One week after winning Western State Conference match No. 6, Santa Barbara City College placed sixth in WSC No. 7 at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale

The Vaqueros shot 419 as a team, 14 strokes behind fifth-place Bakersfield and 39 strokes behind Canyons, who won the match with a 380.  Last Monday, SBCC topped Canyons 369-376 at Antelope Valley Country Club.

Cantons has won five of the seven WSC matches this year, with SBCC and Ventura winning one each.
