"We played so hard tonight and with so much toughness," said 13th-year coach Sandrine Krul. "When it's all said and done, this sophomore unit will be missed. For us to end up 15-12 is a good season and I'm proud of this team."

Jocelin Petatan, a sophomore from Santa Barbara High, added 13 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Vaqueros, who pulled within eight points (35-27) on a breakaway layup by Diamond Alexander, then trailed by 13 at halftime (46-33).

Stella Dulay tossed in nine points and Alyssa Cosio had six assists.

SBCC shaved the deficit to 10 points, 73-63, on two free throws by King with 4:58 to play but Campbell and Dougan hit back-to-back triples to stretch it back to 16 points. Dougan was 6-8 on 3-pointers and Campbell hit 5-12.

The Vaqueros are hoping to earn one of 19 playoff spots for the Southern Cal Regional. The pairings will be announced on Monday.
