SBCC utility player Taylor Brooks has been selected as the Most Valuable Player in the Western State Conference.
Taylor Brooks tossed in five goals to break the SBCC single-season scoring record on Friday night and the third-seeded Vaqueros knocked off No. 6 Golden West 10-4 in a Southern Cal Regional quarterfinal at Riverside City College.
