3 ex-Vaqueros playing in NCAA Regionals

Steven Reveles, an All-American for the Vaqueros last year, started 48 of 51 games at shortstop for Nebraska this year. The Cornhuskers (40-19) will take on Cal State Fullerton in the Stillwater, Okla., Regional on Friday.
In the Fall of 2013, Reveles made the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Reveles was the WSC North Player of the Year in his sophomore season at SBCC.
Zack Zehner was an All-Southern Cal choice on the 2013 Vaqueros. He started 40 games in the outfield for Cal Poly, helping the Mustangs (45-10) to their first Big West championship. Zehner is second among the regulars with a .329 batting average.
Cal Poly will host a four-team Regional, opening on Friday at 6 p.m. vs. Sacramento State. The Mustangs are 27-3 at Baggett Stadium.
Brendon Shoemake, a two-year starting pitcher for the Vaqueros in 2012-13, is a pitcher on Youngstown State. The Penguins will face No. 4 seed Indiana in the Bloomington Regional.
