Walker posts double-double in 68-53 setback
Thomas Walker had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds on Friday but it wasn't enough for the SBCC men's basketball team, which dropped a 68-53 decision to Bakersfield at the Fullerton Classic.

The Vaqueros (0-4) were outshot 45.3 to 33.3 percent from the field and made only 64.5 percent from the free-throw line (20-31).
Guard Sean Keyes added 11 points for Santa Barbara, which was tied 23-all at the half.
The Vaqueros trailed by just four, 54-50, after Cody Williams made a layup with 3:01 to play. Bakersfield (1-1) finished on a 14-3 run, however, thanks to 12-12 shooting from the foul line.
The Renegades outrebounded the Vaqueros 37-28 and their bench enjoyed a 32-13 scoring advantage.
SBCC makes its home debut on Tuesday, Nov. 25 vs. Glendale at 4 p.m.
