Moorpark tops Vaqueros in third-place game

Tejon Williams hit 8-14 shots and had a season-high 20 points for the Vaqueros (1-2). He also led the team in rebounds (8) and steals (4). Bryndon Wilson added 10 points while Cody Williams and Zack Peterson had eight apiece. Adrian Humphrey contributed six points and seven rebounds.
The Raiders (2-1) led 41-36 at the half. Larry Bush scored 25 points to lead five Raiders in double figures. Moorpark made 11-of-25 on 3-pointers while the Vaqueros were 5-27.
The Vaqueros will take next week off, then play in West L.A.'s Wild West Shootout. They'll face Saddleback on Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. and Barstow on Nov. 21 at 3 p.m.
