Fuerst, Fumat win super tiebreakers to spark Vaqueros, 7-2

Andreas Fuerst and Pierre Fumat won tight third-set super tiebreakers on Saturday to propel SBCC to a 7-2 men's tennis victory over San Diego City at Pershing Park.

Unbeaten Ventura takes down Vaqueros, 8-1

Vaqueros blank Bakersfield 9-0 for first shutout

SBCC made a long trek to Bakersfield pay off on Tuesday as the Vaqueros recorded their first shutout of the season with a 9-0 win over the Renegades.

Ventura downs Vaqueros in WSC opener, 7-2

After falling behind 2-1 in doubles, Ventura swept all six singles on Tuesday to down SBCC 7-2 in a WSC West men's tennis opener at Ventura.

No. 1 doubles lifts Riverside past Vaqueros, 5-4, in season opener

SBCC rallied to tie Friday's season-opening men's tennis match 4-4 by capturing the No. 2 and 3 doubles. Riverside then prevailed in the No. 1 doubles 8-4 to pull out a 5-4 win at Pershing Park.

Nathan Jackmon grew up playing on the Pershing Park courts and was a four-time CIF team champion at Santa Barbara High.
