Hogan, Yoshimoto make All-WSC
A pair of SBCC sophomores have landed on the All-Western State Conference men’s volleyball team. Drew Hogan, a 6-2 setter from Chico, was a first-team choice and Evan Yoshimoto, a 6-5 opposite from Ventura, made the second team.

A pair of SBCC sophomores have landed on the All-Western State Conference men's volleyball team.
Drew Hogan, a 6-2 setter from Chico, was a first-team choice and Evan Yoshimoto, a 6-5 opposite from Ventura, made the second team.
Hogan was third in the WSC in assists (9.46 per set). He led the Vaqueros in hitting percentage (.392) and tied for third in digs with 109. Yoshimoto led SBCC in kills with 236 (3.3 per set) and was second in digs with 113.
Hogan had his best match on April 2 with 47 assists, 16 digs, five kills and five blocks in a 3-1 win over LA Trade Tech. Yoshimoto reached double-digit kills in 15 of 19 matches with a season high of 21 vs. Irvine Valley.
The Vaqueros went 9-10 overall and 4-8 in conference, capped by a stirring 3-2 victory over second-place Long Beach.
