SANTA BARBARA – The SBCC men's volleyball team fell for the third straight outing on Wednesday against El Camino at home, 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.
Outside hitter Payton Miller and opposite Kevin Vonyokes finished with eight kills apiece to lead the Vaqueros.
Setter Carter Cottrell notched his second straight double-double with 25 assists and a season-high 13 digs.
However, the Vaqueros were outhit .283-to-.173 and El Camino finished with a sizable advantage in blocks. Kayode Lovejoy-Hall had three blocks to lead SBCC.
Outside hitter Jack McManus finished with two aces, giving him five over his last two efforts. Vonyokes tied a season-high with two aces of his own.
