Vaqueros rack up 20 runs, then suffer 2-0 shutout

It was a roller-coaster day for SBCC on Friday as the Vaqueros blasted San Diego City 20-2 in five innings, then suffered their first loss of the softball season – a 2-0 decision to Imperial Valley. Both games were played at San Diego City College.

Vaqueros rout L.A. Valley 11-0 in five innings

Isabella Gregson and Rebecca Pullen combined on a one-hitter on Thursday and SBCC routed L.A. Valley 9-1 in a nonconference softball game at Valley Glen. The game ended after five innings due to the 8-run rule.
