Women’s Basketball Stays Unbeaten

Isis Poteet powered the Vaqueros to their third straight on Friday, November 8, in a 71-62 victory over Bakersfield.
Poteet supplied 22 points, four rebounds and two steals, while Aariah Fox added 13 points, 15 rebounds and four assists.
Santa Barbara improves to 3-0 on the year. Thus far, the offense averages 70.3 points per game while allowing just 51.3 points.
The Vaqueros held a commanding 42-21 lead at halftime. However, a resilient Bakersfield team charged back in the second half, outpacing Santa Barbara 41-29.
Siena Hoban played a crucial role off the bench in the fourth quarter, scoring three points and grabbing three rebounds. She finished the game with five points and six rebounds total.
Women's basketball is back in action on Tuesday, November 12, at 4:00 p.m., when they host the Hartnell College Panthers in the Sports Pavilion.
