Women's Golf Makes the Cut at SoCal Championships

VENTURA, Calif. -- The Santa Barbara City College women's golf team shot a 362 in the first round of the SoCal Championships at Olivas Links on Sunday.
The Vaqueros currently sit fifth in the tournament, with a chance to compete in the 3C2A Women's Golf Championship next week in Solvang.
Camyrn Chapman had the fifth-best score on day one, a 77. She sits five strokes behind Canyon's Shaya Kitabatake.
Addie Smith was just a stroke behind her teammate for sixth-best in the opening round.
The Vaqs wrap up the SoCal Championships today at Olivas Links.
