Mekaylla White was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year on the 2019 All-WSC North women’s soccer team. She was one of 12 players from SBCC’s conference championship squad to make the team.

Santiago Canyon stops Vaqueros in Regional final, 2-0

Santiago Canyon proved to be a thorn in the SBCC Vaqueros’ side for the second straight year as the Hawks scored twice in a 15-minute span of the second half on Saturday to end Santa Barbara’s season 2-0 in the Southern Cal Regional final.

Pizano scores twice to send Vaqueros to Regional finals, 3-0

Monica Pizano and Lovisa Sigbratt teamed up on a pair of first-half goals on Tuesday night and Elizabeth Estrada had an impressive second-half showing in goal as SBCC blanked Saddleback 3-0 in the second round of the Southern Cal Regional playoffs.

Estrada scores and saves Vaqueros in PK shootout, 4-3

Sophomore goalie Elizabeth Estrada came up huge in the Southern Cal Regional on Saturday night, scoring the winning goal in the fourth round of the PK shootout and then stopping Karen Martinez to send SBCC past Ventura and into the regional semifinals.

7th-seeded Vaqueros will host familiar foe in So Cal Regional

SBCC was seeded No. 7 for the Southern Cal Regional women’s soccer playoffs and drew a familiar foe in No. 10 and WSC rival Ventura.

Mekaylla White poured in three goals in a 21-minute span of the first half for a natural hat trick that propelled SBCC to a 5-0 shutout of Moorpark on Friday in the women’s soccer regular-season finale at La Playa Stadium.

Mekaylla White recorded her third hat trick of the season on Tuesday night and SBCC clinched its third straight WSC North title with a 6-0 rout of Oxnard at La Playa Stadium.

Vaqueros beat Ventura 2-1 in 1st-place battle; Sisterson gets 200th win

SBCC followed a similar script to its first meeting with Ventura by taking a 2-0 lead in the second half of Sunday night’s first-place showdown and then holding on for a 2-1 women’s soccer victory at the VC Sportsplex.
