Vaqueros to battle Cerritos in Southern Cal Regional
Due to a seeding and bracket mixup, SBCC’s opponent has changed for the Southern Cal Team Regional women’s tennis playoffs. The Vaqueros were seeded No. 5 for the eight-team Regional and will face No. 4 Cerritos in the first round. The Vaqueros will travel to Norwalk on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. match.

Santa Barbara (10-3) finished second in the Western State Conference. The Falcons (18-6) were third in the South Coast Conference. SBCC won 10 of its last 11 matches to earn its first playoff berth since 2012.
The winner of Tuesday's match will meet the winner of the match between No. 7 Irvine Valley and No. 2 Glendale, the WSC champion with a 15-2 record.
Mt. San Antonio (20-1) is the top seed, followed by Glendale and Riverside.
