Josephine Pulver, a freshman from San Marcos High, got both Vaquero points with a 6-0, 6-0 singles win and an 8-1 doubles win with Paige Jensen.

Lesley Zapata De Lira outlasted Veronika Galstyan to win the No. 3 singles point, 6-1, 4-6, 7-6, capped by a marathon 17-15 tiebreaker.

Julianna Adelman (serving) and Laura Berther both won in singles and doubles. They took the No. 2 doubles set 8-5 after trailing 5-6 when darkness set in at Ventura College, forcing the players to finish at Camino Real Park.
