SBCC Men's XC qualifies three for SoCal Championships

Jake Shroder was the top finisher for SBCC, completing the course in 24:11 to place 24th out of 86 runners in the Western State Conference Championships to qualify for the Southern California Championships in two weeks. Ytxzae Enriquez (24:20, 27th place) and Ethan Clark (25:36, 40th place) also qualified for the regional championships after running well at Cuesta College Friday.

Emma Kopp, a freshman from Oakdale, N.Y., ran in her first cross country race for the Vaqueros. She played in 21 games for SBCC's water polo team that went 30-5 last year and finished fourth in the state.
