Alexander Virgili made quite a splash in his first start of the season on Friday with a hat trick in SBCC’s 5-2 men’s soccer victory at Moorpark.

SBCC poured in three goals in the final 25 minutes on Tuesday to defeat Santa Monica on Sophomore Day at La Playa Stadium.

Dakyer Castillo Villalobos scored a header at the 80:41 mark on Friday, lifting Citrus over SBCC 1-0 in a WSC men’s soccer match in Glendora. The win avenged a 4-3 loss to the Vaqueros one month ago in Santa Barbara.

Albi Skendi went from the back to the front in the second half on Tuesday night and scored a dramatic goal in the 90th minute as SBCC rallied to tie L.A. Mission 2-2 in a WSC men’s soccer match at La Playa Stadium.

Badache named WSC Athlete of the Week

SBCC's Mehdi Badache has been selected as Western State Conference male Athlete of the Week after recording a hat trick in a 4-3 win over Citrus on Oct. 7. He added an assist in a 3-3 tie vs. Santa Monica on Oct. 10.

SBCC took a 3-1 lead early in the second half on Friday afternoon but Santa Monica rallied for two goals in a 10-minute span to tie the Vaqueros 3-3 in a WSC men’s soccer match at Santa Monica.
