Decock/Signorello edged by No. 3 seed in Round of 16

Andres Decock and Dominic Signorello cruised into the Round of 16 in the CCCAA State Men’s Tennis Tournament on Friday, then dropped a tight 6-4, 6-4 decision to third-seeded Younes Kodiji/Tommy Luu of American River at Hueneme High.

Andres Decock won in both singles and doubles to advance to the Round of 32 in the State Tournament.

El Camino downs Vaqueros 9-0 in dual-team finale

Connor Davis outlasted Dominic Signorello 2-6, 6-0, 11-9 (tiebreaker) at No. 1 singles and El Camino went on to blank visiting SBCC 9-0 in the final men’s tennis match of the regular season.

Ventura downs Vaqueros, 8-1

SBCC finally got back on the courts on Tuesday after multiple rain postponements and Ventura spoiled the Vaqueros’ return to Pershing Park with an 8-1 WSC men’s tennis victory.

Mariscal leads Vaqueros past Bakersfield, 6-3

With SBCC down a few players with injuries, Dominic Mariscal stepped up and posted wins at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles on Tuesday to spark the Vaqueros to a 6-3 men’s tennis win over Bakersfield at Pershing Park.

Vaqueros split 6-3 decisions in San Diego area

SBCC downed Grossmont 6-3 on Saturday morning in El Cajon, then traveled to San Diego City and dropped a 6-3 decision to the Knights.
