Four outstanding Vaqueros are heading to four-year schools -- Kat Sheehy (UCSB), Kaylene Ureno (Cal St. Stanislaus), Kyle Skinner (Ohio State) and Vanessa Watkins (Cal St. Bakersfield).

Four SBCC student-athletes signed national letters-of-intent on Friday during a Signing Ceremony at the Sports Pavilion.

Watkins fires 69 for third place; Vaqueros finish third in State

Vanessa Watkins fired a tournament-low 3-under 69 on Monday and finished third in the CCCAA Women’s Golf State Championship at Morro Bay Golf Course. SBCC took third in the two-day, eight-team tournament.

Carlson, Farouze lead Vaqueros to second straight perfect WSC season

Elly Carlson took second in the WSC Finals women’s golf tournament on Monday and Stephanie Farouze tied for third as SBCC completed its second straight undefeated WSC campaign at Kern River GC in Bakersfield.
