Four members of the SBCC women’s soccer team have been named to the inaugural 2013 State Soccer Scholar-Athlete team. Brandie Harris, the WSC Player of the Year, made the team, along with Heather Rivera, Jackie Holmer and Mackenzie Rios.
Brandie Harris, a record-setting forward on the women’s soccer team, has been named Scholar-Athlete of the Year for SBCC. She received her award on Monday during the weekly press luncheon of the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table.
Two SBCC football players signed letters-of-intent to play at four-year schools on Wednesday in the press box of La Playa Stadium. For the Vaquero soccer teams, it was a package deal with two women going to Cal State San Bernardino and four men heading to Hawaii-Hilo.
