Kaitlyn Crooker has been selected as SBCC’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year for the 2014-15 academic year.

SBCC was seeded No. 4 for the 18-team Southern Cal Regional women’s soccer playoffs and will host No. 13 Rio Hondo in a first-round match on Saturday at 7 p.m. in La Playa Stadium.

Martin scores twice in 2-0 upset of No. 6 Wolverines

On Sophomore Night, a pair of sophomores combined for both goals as SBCC upset No. 6 San Bernardino Valley 2-0 on Friday in its women’s soccer regular-season finale at La Playa Stadium.

Sandy Grimaldo scored the first hat trick of the year for SBCC and the Vaqueros blanked Ventura 3-0 on Tuesday night at La Playa Stadium to earn their second WSC North women’s soccer title in the last four years.

Crooker nets 2 goals in 5th straight win, 2-0

When Kaitlyn Crooker goes on the attack, good things happen for SBCC women’s soccer. Crooker scored two goals on Tuesday, in the 5th and 82nd minutes, in a 2-0 shutout of Moorpark at La Playa Stadium. It’s the seventh time this year she’s had a two-goal game.

Vaqueros blank Pierce 2-0 in battle for first

Kaitlyn Crooker scored in her fourth straight game on a cloudy Halloween day and SBCC went on to blank L.A. Pierce 2-0 in a women’s soccer first-place showdown at La Playa Stadium.

SBCC scored two goals in the first four minutes on Friday night and continued the offensive onslaught in a 7-2 women’s soccer victory over Hancock at La Playa Stadium.
