It was all about positioning for Mila Ladek as she scored two goals in a 4:38 stretch of the first half on a chilly Tuesday night and SBCC went on to blank Santa Monica 2-0 in a Southern Cal Regional semifinal at La Playa Stadium.

Vaqueros score twice in OT to take regional opener, 3-1

SBCC was pushed to the limit on Saturday night in its Southern Cal Regional women’s soccer playoff opener. After tying San Diego Mesa 1-1 in regulation, the third-seeded Vaqueros scored twice in the last five minutes of the second overtime to pull out a 3-1 win at La Playa Stadium.

SBCC seeded No. 3 in Regional, will open at home on Saturday

SBCC received the No. 3 seed for the Southern California Regional women’s soccer playoffs and will host a first-round game on Saturday at 7 p.m. in La Playa Stadium.
