A trio of SBCC singles players won in the first round of the CCCAA State Individual Tennis Tournament on Thursday at The Ojai, then all three were eliminated by highly seeded players.
Cerritos got two points in doubles on Tuesday, then posted three straight-set wins in singles to knock off SBCC 5-2 in the opening round of the Southern California Team Regional women’s tennis playoffs.

Tess Kolkman continued her perfect season and helped SBCC get revenge on Santa Monica in a WSC women’s tennis match at Pershing Park. After dropping a 5-4 decision at Santa Monica on Feb. 17 without Kolkman, the Vaqueros returned the favor with a 5-4 victory on Tuesday.
