2014 SBCC Women's Cross Country News
SBCC ran its fastest time of the season on Saturday and took 13th place in the CCCAA State Championship women’s cross country meet at Woodward Park in Fresno.
All six SBCC runners turned in season bests on Friday and the Vaqueros took 12th out of 27 women’s cross country teams in the Southern Cal Championships at Woodley Park in Van Nuys.
Michaela Dahringer took 16th in 22:10 on Friday in the WSC Championships at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura and SBCC advanced to the Southern Cal Regional women’s cross country meet.
Carly Seidel ran a season-best 23:52 to take 110th place in the 67th annual Mt. SAC Invitational women’s community college race on Friday. Teammate Natalie Linton was 127th in 26:44 on the 3-mile course in Walnut.
Michaela Dahringer ran 21:31 on the 5K course on Friday to take 17th in the SBCC Invitational women’s cross country meet at Shoreline Park. Kylie Walker was 29th in 22:25 for the Vaqueros, who placed seventh out of 10 teams with 147 points.
Michaela Dahringer placed 20th and Kylie Walker took 26th on Friday, helping SBCC to a sixth-place finish in the WSC Preview women’s cross country meet at Kenneth Hahn Park in Los Angeles.
Dean Roell finished 50th in a field of 181 runners on Friday, leading SBCC to 16th place in the Southern Cal Preview women’s cross country race at Woodley Park in Van Nuys.
