Distance runner Ian Roberts, the 2013-14 SBCC Male Athlete of the Year, accepted a scholarship to Arizona State during SBCC's Spring Signing Day last week.
Ian Roberts finished seventh in the State Community College Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Woodward Park in Fresno, helping SBCC to one of its highest finishes in many years.
Ian Roberts took second place in a field of 199 runners on Friday, leading SBCC’s men to an 11th-place finish in the Southern Cal Cross Country Championships on a warm day at Central Park in Saugus.
SBCC’s Ian Roberts took the lead in the fourth mile on Thursday and went on to capture the individual men’s title in the WSC Cross Country Championships at College Park in Oxnard.
