SBCC took a 2-1 lead in sets and a 7-4 lead in the fifth set on Friday night but Moorpark rallied back each time to hand the Vaqueros a 3-2 men’s volleyball setback in a WSC North opener at the Sports Pavilion. The scores were 25-17, 22-25, 18-25, 25-17, 15-8.

McDonough, Futch spark sweep of Santiago Canyon

Jackson McDonough recorded 14 kills and Jarrett Futch added 12 on Wednesday night, leading SBCC to a 25-15, 25-16, 25-20 sweep of Santiago Canyon at the Sports Pavilion.

Fullerton outlasts Vaqueros 3-2

Fullerton won a marathon third set 30-28 on Saturday and went on to beat SBCC 3-2, spoiling the Vaqueros’ men’s volleyball opener at the Sports Pavilion. The scores were 24-26, 25-18, 30-28, 12-25, 15-12.
