Bradley Apodaca took 43rd in the CCCAA State Championship men’s cross country race on Saturday, leading SBCC to a 17th-place finish in the 28-team field at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Adam Grimmitt, a sophomore from Rocklin, Calif., took 35th in the Southern Cal Regional in San Diego.
Vaqueros make State for fifth straight year

Sophomores Adam Grimmitt and Bradley Apodaca placed 35th and 37th, respectively, on Friday in the Southern Cal Regional men’s cross country meet at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. They had nearly identical times – Grimmitt covering the 4-mile course in 21:45.09 and Apodaca right next to him at 21:45.57.
