Destinee King collected 23 points and 18 rebounds on Wednesday night and SBCC overcame a 23-1 run by Oxnard to edge the Condors 70-67 in a WSC North women’s basketball game at the Sports Pavilion.

Freshman Jocelin Petatan had a perfect shooting night and notched her first double-double of the year on Wednesday, leading SBCC to an 89-54 rout at L.A. Pierce in the final WSC North game of the first round.

Destinee King had another huge game on Wednesday night and SBCC outscored Cuesta 21-12 in the fourth quarter to record a 68-58 women’s basketball win in a WSC North contest at the Sports Pavilion.

King is SBART Athlete of the Week

Destinee King was honored as female Athlete of the Week on Monday during the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Café. The award goes to the top performace in the Santa Barbara area for all high schools and colleges.
