Josephine Pulver and Pia Valtierra posted a big upset in doubles on the opening day of the CCCAA Women’s Tennis State Championships at the Ojai Tournament.

No. 3 Lasers take down Vaqueros in playoff opener, 5-2

Irvine Valley took two of three doubles sets on Tuesday and then captured three of the first four singles to knock off SBCC 5-2 in the first round of the Southern Cal Regional women’s tennis tournament.

Vaqueros will play Irvine Valley in Southern Cal Regional

SBCC was seeded No. 6 for the Southern Cal Regional playoffs and will play a women’s tennis quarterfinal at No. 3 Irvine Valley on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Peyvandi/Goss reach WSC semifinals; 3 doubles qualify for State

Katelyn Peyvandi and Gabrielle Goss won two sets to reach the semifinals of the WSC women’s tennis doubles tournament on Saturday before falling to No. 2 seed Miah Webb and Sabrina Subero of Glendale 8-3 at Ventura College.
